A BusPass card is the official smart card for Abu Dhabi's public transportation system. It allows you to pay for bus journeys without cash and offers various discounts based on your card type.
You can apply for a new card through our self-service terminal on this website, or visit any of our physical service centers located throughout Abu Dhabi.
For standard applications, you'll need your Emirates ID or passport. Students need to provide valid student ID, and seniors need proof of age. Corporate cards require company documentation.
You can perform a BusPass recharge online through our website, at any physical terminal, or at authorized retail outlets across Abu Dhabi.
Report your lost or damaged card immediately through our customer service. We can transfer your remaining balance to a new card for a small administrative fee.
Standard BusPass cards are valid for 5 years from the date of issue. Tourist cards have varying validity periods based on the selected package.
